He is just a writer who, no matter your politics, will entertain you through his style. And, your vocabulary will most certainly be enlarged and ... enriched.

One of my favorites!Thomas Mann, The Magic Mountain. I started this twice when I was in my 20’s and found it too tedious and boring to finish. Am giving it another try in the autumn of my years.

A compelling read. Full of controversy. For the events described. And for this account itself. It was all over the airwaves and printpages back in 1996 South Africa. But still, recommended reading.
