Going to a concert Friday so bulk listening to the artists until then.
They are. Their (relatively) recent Starting Now album is pretty good. Not as dark as some of their older work but enjoyable.
Most Canadians will know this song while those who don’t hail from the great white north may not. I listened to it this morning with my coffee and as often happens I was touched and carried away by it.
The Specials. Ghost town
Last night I rocked it with The Pirates, often regarded as Britain's hardest working live band. Sadly this power trio are no longer and I'm really miffed that I never got to see them. This bumper 2 disc set includes the entire Skull Wars album which in my view was their finest.

Currently listening to "Hallelujah" sung by Chris Cornell's 12 year old daughter, Tony. She was singing as a duet with One Republic I believe. Beautiful song sung by a wonderful young lady for her late father.
"My Kind of Town" performed by Frank Sinatra and Count Basie at the Sands, arranged and conducted by Quincy Jones, who just passed. May his memory be eternal.

A bit like the 'Virginia Plain' you posted earlier, not heard either of these 2 tunes in years. They used to be on the wireless several times a day.....now barely at all.

Still ploughing my way through this enormous 8 album boxset by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers.
Plenty of memorable tunes on here that will be played over & over again so glad I took the gamble in purchasing it.
