Last night was a bit of a mixed bag on the audio front. First off was
Pink Floyd's
Dark Side Of The Moon Live CD recorded at Wembley in 1974. In some ways it beats the original studio version, the bass of Roger Waters is much more prominent and the fuzz guitar of Gilmour, especially so on Money is a real delight.
Second up was a double disc set of
Wes Montgomery, his guitar playing, along with that of Kenny Burrell is best played late at night with just a sidelight on and a fat tumbler of Scotch/bourbon/rum and me sat with my feet up.....glorious.
