Speaking of Leslie West, here he is as lead guitar (Pete is the rhythm guitar) on the first recording of The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" recorded at the New York Record Plant, in March of 1971, with Al Kooper on keyboards.

I've always loved this version of Love Ain't for Keeping, also featuring Leslie.

Kilgore, a friend of mine in California once managed a band in Youngstown, Ohio. He had one member of that band that kept missing rehearsals and dates (work, family, etc.). After several months of this, my friend fired him.

That man"s name was Joe Walsh and he went straight from that band to the James Gang.
