Happy Birthday!Yesterday was Roger Daltry's (and my) birthday (he's got me by two years). I was busy and didn't get to post.
Here's a live performance of "Baba O'Riley" at Shepperton Studios, 1978, a few months before Keith's passing.

Serendipitous. I was just thinking about Type O Negative.Starting March off w/some Gothic Metal, and the bass vocals of Peter Steele of Type O Negative. RIP ?
His vocals, if possible, seemed to get even more soulful on that album. I’d been listening since Showdown with Johnny Copeland and Albert Collins (recommended).Today on Feedback(XM show) they were reviewing songs with horns. I hadn't listened to my favorite Robert Cray album, The Forecase (Calls for Pain), featuring the Memphis Horns in a long time, so I dug it out. Good stuff.

Love the 40’s crooners and big bands! My kid even likes the music…Mostly 40’s music, lately.
Yeah you right. It is Fat Tuesday! You have to at least listen to something by Fess Longhair...
