One of my favorite garage bands is back together, with a new album coming out in a few weeks. Here's a single.

Chesterfield Kings...................I smoked those unfiltered cigs back in my college days, based soley on reading that the Beatles preferred them in their youth...... Ah........ Good Times!.........

NICE!! I got to ask........... what kind of keyboard is this? most prominent in the last half of the song?...Is it just an electronic piano? It doesen't really sound like an organ to me? And my keyboard knowledge is very weak!.....
As a retired keyboardist, you came to the right place for answers! It's a Fender Rhodes, a very common electric piano used during that time period. Similar to a Wurlitzer, also common at that time. On this track, he's running it through some type of effect pedal, perhaps a phaser.

Wow, just totally nerded out there...please do excuse me!

I nerd out quite a bit............ And I knew you were a keyboard man...... Thanks for the answer, I was thinking it might be a Wurlitzer, I'm not familiar with the Rhoades........ I love that sound though and thanks so much for putting it out there!! .............😍😍😍😍😍😍

In the 1970's, US Army C-Ration kits had a small pack of unfiltered Chesterfields, Living on an Army base, we were required to have several cases on hand for emergencies. My brother and I pilfered out every pack and smoked them out in the woods. When we moved back stateside, and the boxes were discarded, my father discovered the missing smokes. Hell was paid.... (and I never smoked a cigarette again).
