Following up on a tip posted by @DesertDan last month I bought the album Squint by Julian Lage.

I first played it through my new headphones then again via my stereo set up and it sounded fantastic in both, he really is some great guitar player and one I shall be seeking more albums from.

Sitting in the living room, Johnie the Sleeper Hound asleep on the sofa, I’m in the recliner, Elizabethan Mixture in a Savinelli. For Christmas the Matrimonial Unit got me a phonograph, console cabinet and a few records from my favorite era. Listening to a little Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller. All is well. Carry on.
