Took an extended break before tackling "Götterdämmerung" or if you prefer the "Twilight of the Gods". This is the fourth and final opera by Wagner on this subject usually referred to as "The Ring Cycle". This a rather lengthy piece taking about four hours to complete. It is sung in German which can be a challenge to Americans. Fortunately, it is well subtitled. The music is simply sublime.
