That's Richard Burton reading, no?

Yes, it's the original BBC broadcast of Richard Burton (well, a very short extract anyway). I was actually listening to it on remastered 2 CD set.

I've got 3 versions; this one, a later BBC rebroadcast which includes music and a much later one with various well known Welsh actors and even more music. All are enjoyable but the original Richard Burton version is by far the best.

The first love of Richard Burton was poetry. He committed many hundreds of lines to memory. In later life while drinking himself to death he lamented that there wasn't much left for him to do, as he already done all the big parts.
