I still remember buying Gish when it first came out....nobody knew who they were yet..s.till one of my all time favorite albums...

I remember buying Gish on casette in like 92 at some record store in Columbus. Man.....

Same here, I think I burned through at least 2 cassettes....in a little local Record store, back wet we had such things.
If I recall it was the fall of '91 when I first got it...
I remember getting Swervedriver "Raise" about the same time...another epic album....or cassettes back then....made those Camry speakers bleed!
My favorite genre has always been Shoegaze...

Adam Franklin released a version of Deepseat called the Moonshine Version..both are brilliant...the Moonshine is acoustic.


The layers are magnificent, the guitars are soaring...it all just still sounds as fresh and good as it did back then...sunroof open speakers blaring flying down the road...
