Time for a quality "dessert" after a solid steak dinner. For this, rather than sugar, i prefer alcohol (pretty much the same thing as far as the anatomy is concerned). And for alcohol i have only a few preferences. Single malt is one of them. And this is a good one. Not from Scotland as most think of when it comes to single malt. This is an Indian version, and my favorite offering from the company. Amrut's Kadhambam. If you enjoy Scottish whisky, single malt more specifically, do yourself a favor and try an Indian make. This is one of my true faves, amongst any country of origin.

I’ve been sipping Jagermeister with my smokes. The anise/licorice flavoring pairs well with English blends. Here recently, I’ve been drinking absinthe. A wonderful drink to have with pipe tobacco. I wish they had more licorice/anise liquors and absinthe options here in the states. It’s like sipping licorice with a delightful punch!IMG_0446.jpeg
