What Are You Drinking? June 2024

Eagle Rare 10 year. Was tickled to see it mentioned in this vid:
Now that the heat is coming, I drink non-alcoholic beer, a type of roasted grain, with a color similar to rye whiskey. Iron City Light,or just plain old IC Light. Not the best of beers, but I'm a sucker for their commemorative cans. This one features the "Renegade", David Bednar, the Buccos closer and a local guy.

My man, we have similar friends.
I run on caffeine, nicotine and hatred with a splash of alcohol as need. My people circle is smaller than most as I prefer a small crew.
Mezcal pairs great with fruit. If you haven’t tried it yet I recommend it.
Nice! Good quality Tequila and Mescal is about the only distillates i bother with besides single malt these days. Although i won't turn down a good margarita every now and then either.

That’s a very cool bottle—looks like stone, or a beautiful, mottled ceramic. Are the contents as good?
Good eye, all their offerings come in ceramic bottles. On their website each bottle will go over how it’s produced and tasting notes. I haven’t had a bad one yet.
I worked in a kitchen for about 18 years. Servers would often bring the cooking line water to refresh and cool us down when busy.
When slow, they'd take drink requests. I'd alway ask for an Arnold Palmer because it was interesting to see the variations (layering, mixed, ratios), plus they are delicious.
I first sampled this on a 2 week business trip to Ireland back in 1987 when my boss recommended it and never had it since then. Bushmills & Jameson are the only ones I've bought over here.
That is until last night when my bottle arrived courtesy of Amazon.
A very pale Irish whiskey that is delicate in flavour but not in a negative way, it's actually very tasty & drinkable but I limit myself to only the one glass of anything per evening.
