My wife shamed me into watching t.v. with her tonight, so I chose Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel - Barrel Proof. Cheers!
I visited a very old friend after a long time.
1. He told me a couple of months back that he no longer drinks scotch and prefers Tequila so I gave him a bottle of The Botanist Gin for some variation. I also gave him a bottle of bitters and a bottle of tonic water so that he can hit the ground running
2. He knows my love for scotch. After a break from scotch, he also wanted to get back in. He got. 21 years aged Glenfiddich aged in Rum casks. Exceptional ?
3. He wanted both of us to drink Tequila so it was also there
Excellent party ?

I’m starting my Saturday evening off with Sam Houston 14 year old bourbon. This is a fantastic bottle, that I’m going to have to hide from myself, if I’m going to share it with friends. Cheers!
Last night it was a couple of good-sized Martinis... Beefeater to be precise, which I know is not the fancy gin but has also fit perfectly in a cold, very dry Martini. Tonight might be dry Manhattans, Woodford Reserve, we'll see.
Killin' off some Del Maguey Vida Mezcal after a perfect charcoal grilled ribeye steak.
Turns out I miscalculated: We'll be having some mojitos, and maybe a glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc with a pesto pizza for dinner.
My nightcap this evening will be Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B121.
I think this line is the best bang for the buck in bourbon (even with the $10.00 per bottle increase). Have a good night,folks. Cheers!
