Just bought my first bottle of Barrell and it's fantastic! I got the Dovetail though. I think I'm going to have to get some of the other bottles the store had.

I had a bottle of Monkey 47 gin lying around since December so I did some justice to it yesterday and drank it Angostura Aromatic and Angostura Orange bitters. It was missing some fizz, but I did not have club soda at home.

As usual today I drank a cup of First Flush Darjeeling tea - From Namring Estate.

They’re a Boutique style blending house that crafts cask strength expressions of sourced whiskeys. A bit pricey but all of the blends I’ve tried have been fantastic. Enjoy that Dovetail!

Have any bourbon drinkers tried Jefferson's Ocean?

It's apparently barrel aged at sea in the hull of freighters, where the movement and temperature changes help transform and caramelize the bourbon.

Very nice! That is last year’s edition and it’s incredible. I rank it in the top 10 whiskeys I’ve ever had. This year’s edition is very good, but last year’s was special. Cheers!
