We are running low on Woodford so I’m debating making Manhattans from the Frey Ranch bourbon we’ve got. It’s so good neat or on the rocks — but weekends usually are for cocktails.

When it came to rum I was with the Hound from Game of Thrones, “that shite is too sweet!”. If all I had to drink was Bourbon and Scotch I’d be a happy man.

I don’t think the Hound ever tried rum with Virginia, if he did he’d be like me, a convert. Long story short I’m drinking rum.

When that happens, I usually just assume it isn't the first drink the poster is having. Enjoy the Manhattan... I think we'll have a Woodford one (or two) tomorrow night. Friday's are Martini nights here (although it has been Martini week). Enjoy the weekend, one and all.

I drink alcohol generally once a week, and it’s mostly a scotch tasting session, with a little bourbon, gin, tequila and rum thrown in for variety.
Since it becomes repetitive I have stopped posting every week. However this is what the potential drinks look like today. (I am second drink in with the Ardbeg Ugeadail and Glenmorangie Cadbol Estate 15 yo)
