Homemade cherry bounce is delicious and was made by Thomas Jefferson and George Washington.

I used to infuse my own alcohol and would sometimes turn them into liqueurs. Amaretto was good and simple and cherry bourbon made fine "bounce".

My local bar now sells hot Gluhkriek. New to me but purportedly a big thing in the states (?) - hot mulled cherry beer.

It was great.

We got drunk.
