My wife bought me an Advent calendar wherein each day contains a different taster (2cl) of Scotch. Yippee! I've not looked ahead so every day is a new surprise.
Today, the 3rd day of Advent, is Age if Discovery from Glenfiddich. This is a most pleasant 19 year, aged in Madeira casks. It is lovely.
Yesterday was Bunnahabhain Elrich Na Greine which was aged in red wine casks. It is also a very tasty dram.
The first day of advent was Highland Park Vintage 2001-2012. A nice enough Scotch to be sure.

My wife did good with this one.
