Last day at my job of 21 years. A couple of folks bought me a bottle of Angels Envy bourbon. I have not opened it yet. Tonight I had a glass of Buffalo Trace to kill off that bottle. Relocating to Tennessee and I'm excited to see what bourbons I find there.

Last night was a few Queensman martinis -- trying to mix up the usual Beefeater. Its pretty warm for West LA today so perhaps some mescal or maybe an old fashioned this evening -- once work is put to bed!
Nothing fancy. Just a nice table wine with pasta this evening

I’m having a first pour of Rowan’s Creek bourbon after a nudge from @EssJaySea. First sip was caramel and tootsie roll. It has my attention. Cheers!
I have a gin craving lately, but today it did not go well. I had a Hendrick’s Gin with a dash of Angostura Aromatic bitters and pink lemonade flavored unsweetened sparkling water. So I am switching back to whisky

Had a spot of Basil Hayden and now I’m having Four Roses Single Barrel
What do you like to smoke with peated scotch? I love a good English but I find the combination of peated scotch and Latakia is too much.

Great, just googled and it looks right up my alley! Now I need to see if my ABC stocks it.
Good luck. It’s like finding a hen’s tooth around here. I believe a friend ran across Rowan’s Creek and Noah’s Mill in South Carolina and was nice enough to bring me a bottle of each.
I’m starting my Saturday evening off with Blanton’s Single Barrel bourbon. Cheers!
I was going to mention Noah's Mill -- I like it better than Rowan's Creek, my wife feels the opposite. Both are the full, broad flavored bourbons (vanillas, nutty, lingering finish) vs the ones that have a bit more of the petrol kick to them. I think out here I've found them at BevMo -- and at a good wine/liquor place on the Westside.
