What’s the puck? My guess is Taylor of old bond street.
Did the flitz cause any scuffing? I’ve only used flitz on polishing up guns. But too much or too hard of scrubbing pressure and it would scuff up a gun.Don't have the before pic. Here is after. The stain was on that corner.. I think x)

Out of all those razor blades I don’t think any are made in the USA.These photos were taken a couple of years ago. Some eye candy for those who enjoy

The soap is GFT coconut. Hard to get it going, but very smooth after the shave. With Flitz, I put a tiny bit on a soft cotton cloth then used just a touch of it using a corner of the cloth. What’s the puck? My guess is Taylor of old bond street.

It’s been a bit since I checked but only 1-2 brands of razors were actually made in America.

Yup. Just loaded one in a razor tonight for tomorrow’s shave. I often set my SOTD up the night before.Personna blue lab blades are made in USA and are one of my favorites.
As I said before, the green lotion on the right, the one with the brown wooden cap, is not what it used to be. I won't be buying this brand again. I'm referring to the Agua Brava brand. It's practically pure water, and the scent lasts 30 minutes on the skin. However, Proraso shaving cream is very effective and smells great. It contains karite butter and sandalwood oils. Floid still contains slightly more essential oils and the fragrance lasts longer. However, they are inexpensive brands, so logically they cannot offer much higher quality.
Formulas change through out the years. Some for the better most usually for the worse. Many aftershaves usually last about 1 hour maybe more or less. Get a splash on cologne and use it as an after shave and you most likely will have a longer scent. As I said before, the green lotion on the right, the one with the brown wooden cap, is not what it used to be. Of Proraso, I only use the red range, the shaving cream, and the lotion, which is a bit oily. It lasts for days, even if you shower, ha ha ha. I use it every day. But there are thousands of brands, qualities, and prices to choose from. If my finances allowed it, my bathroom would be industrial size, ha ha ha ha. When my father-in-law is on vacation—well, he's retired—at my house, he uses this lotion like it's water, ha ha ha.Formulas change through out the years. The only Proraso I like is the green aftershave. Other than that I think there is much better cream and aftershave.

That is a Razorine shavette that utilizes a double edge razor blade. Very hard to master shaving with.

Here in Spain we have a huge variety of brands, British, Italian, and I think American ones too. I do all my shopping for the year on a website called Gifts&Care, ha ha ha. I've also used Acca Kappa, Mühle, Truefitt & Hill, etc.....................Formulas change through out the years. Some for the better most usually for the worse. I’ve never used witch hazel before. I’m going to give it a try after shaving. While shopping I noticed that some witch hazel is advertised as alcohol free. Is this preferable, or does it matter? For the razors, the aggressiveness of the cut. The 200+ year old G. Johnson holds an edge better than any straight razor I've owned. The Personna blades don't wear out on me as fast as others. The tallow soap provides a lasting lather that doesn't irritate. I've had the Stripey brush for 15 years and it hasn't lost and strands. I like that witch hazel removes redness and disinfects with no lingering smell or residue.

Yes, Thayers is the brand I was looking at. I will give it a try. Thanks.I think all witch hazel is alcohol free.
I use Thayers lemon scented. I try and get the one that says astringent. It’s a refreshing splash. Sometimes I will get a cotton pad and pour some on and cleans the face with it.
You can use it after shaving and then still apply after shave. It’s a common practice of mine.
I don't believe I've ever seen any with alcohol.I’ve never used witch hazel before. I’m going to give it a try after shaving. While shopping I noticed that some witch hazel is advertised as alcohol free. Is this preferable, or does it matter?
