I'll be hanging out at the Irish Pub Friday night. A lot of vendors and show goers meet up there on Friday.

I'll be going. Easy travel - I live about 3 miles from Palace Station! :P This is a great show every year.

If you're at the show and haven't tried the Standard Tonacco Of Pennsylvania blends then SHAME ON YOU! lol. Seriously, that War Horse is AMAZING. If you like Dark Fired Kentucky and Perique it's a must try. Great work on the blends. Can't wait for them to hit the market!

Sorry I couldn't be there with you guys but business issues have kept me grounded in NYC but Dan says the reception was very good so thank you to all you guys that stopped by to say hello.

Yes, Standard's table saw a lot of action. And, yes, Jesse was at the table with several Barlings, and I showed up with one or two. Great to meet and chat with Dan, Dan and Russ there, and many others. Samples were plentiful, and many left with enough tobacco to stuff a large boot.

It was an amazing show I had a great time. I spent some time yesterday taking pictures. I'll try and upload them over the next few days. Right now I need to recover lol.

Sigh. I had life happen and was unable to make it down to the show. Wife says I can try again for the Chigago show in spring though.
I am glad you all had fun and I am super happy Standard did so well!

Real honest to God tins huh? I'm impressed! That's really going all out for three guys in a garage with a couple of galvanized buckets full of leaf.

Thank you Warren. Yes real honest to God tins of tobacco in 50g sizes. Its not really three guys in a garage but more of a collective effort by the entire pipe community. The number of people who donated ancient sealed tins of tobacco has been incredible. With the exception of a few trouble makers who I think we all know who they are we have received nothing but help, kindness and encouragement. So Warren we should all be impressed with what we as a community can achieve when we stick at it and decide we would like something different or a little bit traditional. We have a few more surprises up our sleeve in the next year that should make everyone in pipe world very happy. It is not a match but more rematch with history! :P
