It's still ongoing, actually. We're mostly in the new place but we're basically living out of boxes and trying to figure out where furniture goes. There's a lot to do and I'm really frustrated with it.
Shaun's parents took one of the dogs, but we still need to find a home for Nola. At this point, I'm just exhausted. Nothing ever goes as planned, eh?

The say moving and weddings can be the most stressful things to deal with sister, get a nice stiff drink and relax for a few and then get back to it. It will go better. Heck we moved a year ago and I still have boxes to unpack. Reality is LIFE IS BUSY.

At least one doggie is staying in the family. I hope you guys get back on your feet soon. I know what it's like to have to give up a good canine friend. Heartbreaking. I hope this year sees you in better circumstances!

Cyndi: praying you and Shaun can find some relief and relaxation; and that the new house may turn into a new "home" soon. And don't fret about the boxes. I still have two I packed in 1997. If you need it, you'll unpack it. If not, it can stay in a closet or garage ;-)

i have probably moved twenty-five times in my life. Now that i live on the boat, moving is easier, but it seems that i am always moving.
Cyndi, i'll be keeping you and Shaun in my prayers. i hope life settles down for you soon.

Your clear determination to find the good in a terrible situation is admirable. I believe life rewards those with a grateful, mature attitude. Clearly from the responses in this group you have many loyal friends. May god bless you and your family.
