Well Life's About To Get A Little More Hectic

As most of you know I have a hard time posting during college semester because I am a night student. I had to jump on here though and tell you guys that more of my time is going to be allocated in a few months. My wife just informed me she is expecting our first child. Things are about to get real.

Congrats!!! My son is turning 6 months in a few weeks. The first 8 weeks suck. Feedings every couple hours, diapers, feedings every couple hours, diapers. Then if your lucky the baby will sleep 4 to 6 hours. You won't, you'll think somethings wrong and check up all the time. Then one day you go in there and you get the morning smile. That'll make it all worth it.

Congrats. (I assumed it was a baby on the way from the thread title.) I remember when my wife and I were expecting our first -- older guys were truly happy for me and were so enthusiastic in their congratulations. Now I understand where they're coming from. In a few years, you will, too. Children are hard work, but such a blessing.
leacha, just wait until he can climb, open cabinets, break things, throw things out, open the toilet lid and "feed himself." The fun's just starting. :lol:

Good for you!!! Now enjoy and cherish every moment with your child because they grow up way too soon. Before you know it you are watching them walk to "Pomp and Circumstance" and poof just like that they are grown and gone. Then you can enjoy your grandchildren like you did your babies all over again at which point you can pass the curse on. :lol:
