It's fairly common now, along with Churchils cigars FDR's cigarettes and Stalins pipes or cigarettes have all gone the same way. Where I live in my late wife's country the first two presidents of the Republic, the first an almost non stop cigarette smoker the second a pipe man par excellence are no longer shown smoking cigarettes or pipes. But that also means that he won't get celebrated in the USA (unless the observance is transferred), as the ordo for the USA indicates that we commemorate Independence Day with its proper prayers and preface. (Yeah, I know, that's liturgy geek-level talk, but I embrace my geekdom!)I believe his feast day is the 4th of July. That will be an easy one to remember!
