I can't recall ever taking a selfie. I've posted a photo or two on the site, rarely a pipe though, usually a wildlife or scenic. Any shots of me were taken by other shooters or my wife, rest her soul. I believe there is only one shot of me extant and it appears at the left. I can't fathom anyone being interested in either my visage or my pipes.

That said, there have been some interesting shots posted on the site.

Was gonna say, "what about your avatars?" but you've explained.

When I have to have a picture made of myself, I prefer taking it myself—remote trigger and all that—since according to copyright law the photos belong to the person who pushed the trigger and not to the subject or the camera's owner. Why would I want others owning rights to depictions of my visage? No thanks.

Beyond 40 mm deep it's getting into Well of Democritus territory. ?

Though the very wide chamber diameter makes it more of a cenote.
I like them that way to last all night at work, or to sit and smoke for a few hours when I'm not working. The meer in the above post was my lawn mowing companion for about an hour then I finished it up watching the sun set.

No model release, no publication. And, it all depends on the releases, contracts, purpose, end use, and etc. A shot of someone simply on the sidewalk or whereever, in public can be a real gray area, alegal maze and headache for both the subject and the photog. Might even belong solely to the shooter's employer.

Found out my carrier still supports flip phones. When I break this one I'll likely go back to one. $40 less/month.
I got forced to upgrading due to work commitments/New Zealand closed the network my button phone was operating on - 2g I think it was called. I have found it helpful, especially when on the forum as my computer doesn’t have internet

Yeah, a phone is my only internet connection, but I do all of my orders by calling. Been hacked too many times ordering online.
