Thanks for resurfacing this thread; I’d not seen it before. I do enjoy a nice watch and have always worn one since high school. I’m lucky to have six generations of family timepieces that I hope will stay together in our family as the generations continue. They are (from newest to oldest and from right to left):
- My son’s Seiko 5 from 2010
- My own watches, including (from bottom to top) a Rolex Sub purchased in 1984, an old Seiko 5 from 1984, a Limes Chrono from 1996 (German company with ETA movement), and a Baum & Mercier GMT Alarm mechanical from 2001 that’s a surprisingly useful travel watch.
- Tissot Le Locle, date unknown
- Neuchetel hand wind, 1960s
- Admiral pocket watch, 1950s?
- Waltham pocket watch, 1894
