This guy's channel is great if you're into watches and tiny tools.

Todays pick. I wear my watches often so it’s hard to keep them in great condition without scratches, but I think it still looks good. This is my only auto winding watch. The only bad thing is if I don’t wear it every other day I need to do a quick wind and reset IMG_2698.jpeg

Can't argue with that. This is over a decade old and still hasn't had a battery change.

This guy knows what's up.

My gw5000 was bought 3 months after it was made. I did have to change the cell in it last year. But December it will have been on my wrist for 5 hard years straight, minus one week ( bought two watches since, and that's all I've worn them) I only sometimes take it off at bedtime.

Yeah I bought this guy when I was working at the airport and wanted to get a really accurate watch because of the departure deadlines we had. This has the atomic clock sync feature that wasn't available in NA at the time so I had my cousin's girlfriend at the time buy it in Japan for me. I think I'll need to replace the battery in the next year or two but for now it's still holding a charge well. Where did you get your battery?

Yup mine is solar and atomic as well. I also ordered mine straight from Japan. Used to work for the railroad, so time has been important to me ever since.

I originally got mine from pacparts.com, along with a new strap and bezel for when that day comes.

Amazon sells them too, but I wanted to get the original battery it had in it.

Thanks for the heads up on pacparts. I want to go with an original battery too so this will be great.

Just grabbed this for $2 at our Church rummage sale. Can any Seiko guys tell me about it? I need to find a new battery and see how it goes.

Not very specific, but this range. Putting in the movement number would narrow it down.

I read an article yesterday about the 5 thinnest watches in the world after seeing that the record has been broken with a 1.7mm watch. You guys need one of those! Or you could buy a really big house and a sports car with the money...whichever works for you!

Richard Mille had the record, but a Russian maker created this 1.65 mm thin prototype. There's only one, so not officially a record. Price not yet determined.

The Richard Mille at 1.75 mm is $1.9 million
