If not, for the time being we still have HH Burley Flake.Today is a sad day for burley smokers. However, come august with the release of the new/replacement blend, chances are it will be one of the best on the market.

I tried to like that one but couldn’t. Strange how our palettes work sometimes. Honestly with all the changes happening I’m glad my government kicked my arse into growing. If not, for the time being we still have HH Burley Flake.
A shame but it was hardly my favorite blend from them. The new one sounds really nice actually.
Please post the description of the new blend - all I'm reading is that it's a burley that's meant to be close to the original.
Thanks
If anyone is looking for this same type of blend, GL Pease Navigator is killer. The cut is a weird kind of flake that you can fold and stuff or cube cut easy enough. When fresh, the Kentucky is bold and in your face. The rum is adds sweetness but I couldn't say it tastes like rum or another sweeter liquor. I bought the original release back in 2012.No latakia, it's a Virginia/Kentucky with rum.
"A blend that is decidedly darker and richer than WCS but just as smooth. Look for Waltham Broken Cake by end of August."
Ernie’s vapers are excellent. #558 is an everyday smoke for me and one of my favorite tobaccos.Never heard of them, checked out there site and always try to support the “little guy”, any of their available blends you would suggest in the straight VA / VaPer category, i tend to like my tobacco on the sweeter side. Thanks!
I thought Navigator smoked fresh was great so can’t wait to try some aged.If anyone is looking for this same type of blend, GL Pease Navigator is killer. I did my test tin, smoked a bunch and even though it could be a tad harsh towards the bottom, the potential was totally there. I bought 35 tins for the cellar after my test tin and then I few years later I bought a few more to fill out an order.
If you have the patience the stuff is great. It could also be just as good with only 5 years of age. Th e last tin I opened was some months ago and the tin was bulging big time. when I cracked it I thought a freaking shot gun went off. I am serious I almost shit myself. The tobacco was wonderful, well rounded, smooth, sweet, great Kentucky flavors and that rum still didn't taste like rum but I am not a big rum drinker so who knows. It tasted great.
If anyone tried it let me know what you think. The price is also reasonable as are all of GL Pease blends.
