It's good stuff and worth grabbing some if you can but I much prefer the OD and 558 flakes. Watch City blends are top notch.
I think it’s worth it. While it is limited in that it’s only available for a brief window twice a year, it’s not the usual small batch BS.Is this worth the hype? It sounds like a “normal” blend to me. People seem to hold it in such high regard. I’m always leery of limited stuff as a gimmick. I’m tempted on glass slipper and simplyvoriental, but to make it worth the trouble you’d almost have to buy a pound each, since it’d be too long to get a 1oz sample and go back to buy, only to see it gone.
Like others have said, Hype is hype. But, the big but, is that this is a tremendous blend to me. The WCC Virginia blends are my preferred and in MHO the best.Is this worth the hype? Dammit, guess I’ll be buying some blends soon! Thanks everyone for giving me the straight dope.Over many years, I've smoked the esteemed British tins, Peretti, Wilke, Drucquer, on and on. On the whole I've had the best experience with Watch City blends.
