W Cannoy Pricing

I just came across a Walt Cannoy pipe. I bought it of course. What do these go for?

These days, pretty hard to tell. You could try completed Ebay auctions, but I doubt you'll find any. (update, I tried, and found none). 2nd hand artisan pipes aren't doing well (its a buyers market), if an original went for $300 new,I'd say $175 is a reasonable estimate.

Is it a Cardinal pipe from Walt? His drip wax ranges from $250-$450 depending on the pipe.

Either way, you got a great deal on the estate. Congrats.

Yeah, that hedegaard pipe I got the other day was too nice for me to smoke. I ended up listing it. But I think I’ll give this one a go.

That's my thought. A new Cannoy of any kind would be quite expensive.

Well, I’m buying pipes almost sight unseen. I actually couldn’t find a price on this one. Now that dunhill I posted on the other post I got for $40. When I say practically nothing, I mean it.

That's bloody expensive for a tiny plant pot.

It would have become one too if it hadn't passed a pipe cleaner. Yixing clay pots not much bigger range from hundreds into thousands.

Did you guys and gals see the posting on Walts Facebook page. Apparently this is the very first pipe he made. I had it on shebay Incase someone wanted it, but ended the auction Incase Walt wants it back for any reason.
