Did Walt ever make good on the pipes and money he owed people? I remember being more than just a few. Pipes he owed people.

I remember hearing that about Ruthenberg, but not Walt. I think he makes one at a time.

Being thrifty, I can appreciate that excellent deal. You have to work at it, and know what you are looking at, but deals are there.

Ruthenberg did the same thing. He took deposits from people and never made the pipes. He owes people big time.

I have never paid a deposit for any artisan although to be honest no one as ever asked. In my opinion any artisan who askes for a deposit is someone to never do business with.
