Nice pickup this weekend chasingmembers! I was watching that particular pipe but didn't bid on it.
I do blame this thread for driving up the price on three beautiful volcano's I was chasing on eBay yesterday. All three went for close to $300. I'm pretty sure this thread added $50 to $75 to each of them.

I will be really surprised if that doesn't hit $300 before it sells on Thursday morning. Moretti's magnum's are bad enough but his "super" magnums typically go for top $.
Those pipe are so big you almost need a special walking stick or stand to support it while you smoke.

Marco's popularity it growing. I got my magnum back in December, for just over $130, and it seems that each progressive round of sales garners more money.
I used to see Marco's pipes occasionally sell for under $100. Over the last month or so it's pretty rare for anything to go below $150, with most of his average pipes hitting around or above the $200 mark.
I have been keeping an eye out for a poker or MacArthur from him but I haven't seen any bargains and I also haven't seen any pipes that I've liked enough to drop $200 on.

Over 300 may be the case I'm sure that pipe had sold originally in the 400 range maybe more if you can get that under 300 that's a total steal.

Marco's site (linked in the post above) hasn't been active for a very long time now. I'm pretty sure he sells all his new creations on eBay. I watch all his auctions and he typically puts out 3 or 4 new pipes each day, Monday - Saturday.
The volcano being bid on is a new pipe that Marco just created, it is not someone reselling an old one.

I've been the consistent hight bidder on the volcano, so mybe it won't go much higher because I'm determined to win. Wish me luck.
I have one Volcano. It came to me unsmoked/NOS from SP.com and is a 3 part C. It smokes wonderfully.
Thanks, chasing, I need some luck and prayers. I guess I can forget about any hopes for getting a cheap volcano, but if I win, I can be confident that I'll be getting the very best one. Marco sounds like a real stand up guy: I've had some communications with him.
