Make sure to check out Frenchman Street. It's far less touristy than Bourbon street. Eating and drinking is more fun in NoLa, for some reason. My favorite place for breakfast was Petunia's, but they have closed. I have read that Oceana is now doing Petunia's breakfast, but I haven't had it there yet. I do recommend having dinner at Oceana, though. Have fun!

BBG is in Mid City on the same block as Neyow's which is an insanely good authentic and non-touristy creole restaurant. I highly recommend experiencing that place.
Anyhow YES you can smoke at BBG because we were just there two nights ago smokin cigars! The place is incredible. Best beer selection in the history of beer!
