I wish meerschaum case repair (and manufacturing) would return.Shervington was one of the few who could repair meerschaum cases and recover them in new leather. They repaired many of my pipes, fitted silver bands and sold me tobacco. Also I use to frequent Smiths Snuff in Charing Cross Road and Indewicks on Carnaby Street. I think the place in Leaden Hall Market is still around. The young today call it progress.
