US Postal Service Is Horrible

I'm smoking my pipe on the varanda, waiting for the mailman to come by. He's in the neighborhood somewhere. Supposedly he has a box of estate pipes for me that I've been waiting for a little over three months: one month to get inside the USA and two months stuck at customs in Chicago ISC. Trying not to get too excited, as this particular guy is adept at misdelivering mail.

Sorry for your mail going all over hella half acre, mine sometimes takes a side trip to Puerto Rico then back to the mainland. It's just how it is and it still arrives in good condition for the most part.

It would be nice if they jacked up prices on junk mail that way i would only get the mail I need to get...maybe they should invent a junk mail bin next to the mailbox and just put it all in there.

I am thankful for our mail system and please let's try not to berate the good people that are slammed with work and are definitely undermanned.

Then it got here and I hated the tin. Lol. 1st world problems..

I feel your frustration. Most of the time USPS is okay but sometimes they mess up. One package made it almost to my hometown, then was sent about 500 miles away. Currently waiting on a P&C order that spent a week sitting in Kansas City and now is taking days to travel 50 miles from a distribution center to my local post office.
