I know this is really a computer question, But I'll give it a shot. Any tips on uploading pictures from windows, " MY PICTURES" . Should I shoot in a lower resolution,

or maybe send them as a VGA file, the web site is saying the file is too large.I'm only trying to upload 2 pics of "My Stash"

Thank you

Typically, raw photos from a digital camera can be huge in file size and need to be "optimized" for the web. Optimizing them cuts down the file size without sacrificing photo quality - at least that's the goal when done right.
Web browsers usually only recognize file types of .jpg, .gif and .png. The best file type for a photo is .jpg. (Graphic files use .gif and .png.)
I use Photoshop for optimizing photos, but that would be overkill for you.
Maybe your camera came with some software for optimizing photos?
You could also try this free online service

If that doesn't work, since you're having trouble uploading and they may not upload there either, here is a free program you can download.

If you are using Vista or Windows 7 you can download "windows Live Photo Gallery"( free- from Microsoft) and use it to resize you pics. I use it on both of our computers.

brazz, I highly recommend you make a free account at http://photobucket.com/
You upload your photos, all the tools to resize or crop are built-in to the site, and it provides links which you can paste into forum posts, e-mails, whatever. I've been using it for years :puffy:

I highly recommend he doesn't and use imgur.com instead.
If he has a Google account (gmail, google+) then Picasa is even better.

I am having issues with uploading pictures to my profile page. Each time I click the link to my profile it says "I don't have access". But I thought earlier I saw an upload photos button there when it worked.

I use an iPod running ios 10.3.1 for pictures, a better camera than my old Android tablet. What is the simplest way to upload pictures here?
