I mean Brits can say "cunt" with such a class. And with all the name changes and word replacements we've had, they just let that one ride... Makes you wonder.

The irony being that in half of all regions in the UK, the police have made no arrests for burglary in the last year. The social contract is becoming very frayed. It's just another example of the insane nanny state in the UK.
They're talking about bringing in laws about spreading "misinformation". Who decides what's misinformation and what isn't? The fuckers who are in charge, that's who. Free speech is dead and buried in the UK.
A little while back a mother was arrested in front of her children and locked in a cell for seven HOURS after calling a transgender woman a man on Twitter. I shit you not. Someone didn't like something that someone else had written on Twitter so they complained to the police. The cops went round to this woman's house and arrested her. Try getting your head around that mental illness.

Three officers detained Kate Scottow, 38, at her home in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, before quizzing her at a police station about an argument with Stephanie Hayden on Twitter.www.dailymail.co.uk
I know, it's absolutely insane. Too many people are going along with it, as well. We're heading down the path to 1984.
They're probably too busy checking Twitter to make sure nobody has written anything that might cause some hurty feefees. Your average cop must hate this bullshit. I'd guess that most people join the police because they want to catch bad guys, not arrest people for something mean they wrote on Twitter. The irony being that in half of all regions in the UK, the police have made no arrests for burglary in the last year. Just give them some time. Calling a cigarette a "fag" will be seen as a micro aggression against the cigarette community. And with all the name changes and word replacements we've had, they just let that one ride... Makes you wonder.
At least you've got the First Ammendment to protect you. If any politicians tried fucking with that they wouldn't get very far. No way would the majority stand for that. It’s not just your country brother………The great old USA is in lockstep……… SAD!
Maybe that’s why they’re pushing marijuana so hard now: mentally castrate the potties, and tax them for the privilege.Don't worry mates. Once the damned commies realize they are running out of the reliable source of income for the political class, they will jump right back into tobacco business. Either that or raise tax on beer and coffee. Maybe air.
I've often wondered if there's some link between nicotine and free thought, as ridiculous as it sounds. Even if it's just the energy it gives you. Although judging by some posts on this forum...Maybe that’s why they’re pushing marijuana so hard now: mentally castrate the potties, and tax them for the privilege.
I started thinking along this same line a few months ago, then my wife sent me this:I've often wondered if there's some link between nicotine and free thought, as ridiculous as it sounds. Even if it's just the energy it gives you. Although judging by some posts on this forum...
But sometimes it's hard to think of a great author or journalist who didn't smoke!
Not all of America. Just the small areas with the heaviest population that you'd have to be crazy to live in anyways.Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't this already happened in Merica? All of those places mentioned don't allow smoking at all or within a certain footage of said facility.

People have said that a total ban on smoking is coming since the 70's. Both parties have been actively working towards this. It really amuses me when people act like this is a new thing or one political party over another,. I call BS. This also is not a few people in a small secret organization pulling strings. It's the will of the majority, which is how we are ruled. Look around, we aren't exactly a majority. I don't even like smokers. cigarette smokers anyways.
Hate me if you want, but its the truth. But, they always tend to kill the guy who is willing to say that the Emperor wears no clothes. So... you guys have fun.
No one's disputing that! I think if you polled the general population in the US and the UK, they would say they believe in an individual's right to choose, liberty, freedom etc. They just don't in practice. No surprises there. We are in the minority, that's true, but I'm not convinced that makes us wrong. (And just for the record, I don't believe anyone is pulling the strings - there is no one competent enough to hold that up for long).People have said that a total ban on smoking is coming since the 70's. A Republic would refer to a strong centralized government that has authority over states.Did our founding fathers leave us no tools to protect the individual from the majority?
Straight democracy is mob rule... We luckily weren't born into that kind of mess.
All you ever hear anymore is about our democracy... Not much mention of the Republic these days, from either side.
Yes, well, I wouldn’t chose the connotations that go along with that specific word, nor, Nanny state. But, it seems as if decisions are being guided by a sense of protecting public health. Eh, do I like it? Nah, I don’t like people.would you agree with that?
