I don’t know much about boxing, but I did see an interesting stat. Tyson 58 professional bouts, Paul, maybe 8. Experience counts A great deal in strategic sports. Assuming that boxing is more than just throwing punches, knowing how to fight could be key. I’m rooting for Iron Mike.

Tyson’s boxing style is amazing. I can’t get enough of watching him charge larger opponents and switching to southpaw at will. Any angle he has power.

His footwork and defensive abilities are phenomenal and his power is still there. Body shots, upper cut, overhand.

Tyson knows how to defend himself and his experience will set Paul up for a knockout.

Don’t blink.

If the fight was with 8 oz gloves, Mike would probably be able to resurrect 60-90 seconds worth of his vicious hooking Tasmanian Devil persona, and do to the punk moron idiot POS whatshisname the same thing he did to so many others back in the day.

With EPG's, though, (enormous pillow gloves), punk moron idiot POS whatshisname will probably be able to survive long enough by skating, sliding, and slipping to tire Mike out and punch-bagify him until the ref stops it.

(I absolutely hope I'm wrong and punk moron idiot POS whatshisname gets laid out cold for a couple minutes.)

Boxing is a ferociously intense sport, and extremely hard on the body. The only thing that could give Tyson a win is a huge difference in technique - I don't know Jake Paul as I've only followed some of the big(ger) names. If he gets a good punch on the chin in then could win, otherwise his 58-year old body can't possibly keep up with that of a man less than half his age.

Having said that, I'd watch the fight if it wasn't at 2:00 AM for me, and I wasn't travelling the next day...

Definitely putting on a show, they’ll both make a pile of money. I’ll still watch it in hopes Mike goes off script and punches Jake so hard it knocks out Logan.
Apparently, Paul is making $40M and Tyson is getting $20M.

I really hope Mike can somehow turn back the years and fuck him up. Will he? Probably not.

No excitement for this fight, it's one of the dumbest promotions I've ever seen and theyre doing a shite job promoting it. I don't see what anyone gets out of this except some quick cash. Tyson doesn't seem to care much in the press conferences, but good for him making another 20 million, we'll see if it lasts him to 65. I don't know why anyone would want to see a 60 year old with brain damage from repeated blows to the head, risk further injury and disability against a much younger and physically larger opponent. The fix has probably been in since jump street, but Mike should just retire and hock hamburger griddles for half a billion like Foreman.

Most of us, hell most of the population of the planet, won't ever see this kind of money. In essence it's easy money at this stage for Tyson.
