I don't dry anywhere near as much as other folk it seems. I cut them super skinny leave them for an hour or so & then loosely stuff them in. Only one will get rubbed out for the top.
They're really hard to light, but once they're up & running I get a really long satisfying smoke with surprisingly little moisture at the end. The oiliness is a lot of why I think you get such a rich flavour from them.
