I just don't understand the Mark Ryan haters. Even if you are Percy Whatshisname, why not just talk up your product and not put others in the biz down. I don't remember hearing Mark ever say your name.
Once you taste the unique flavor of true St. James, you will laugh at Mr. Ryan's stuff.
Ultimately, I don't think anyone seriously (other than maybe a passing thought) wonders where the perique in Escudo, Annie Cake, or Haddos comes from. Honestly, I could care less if it was grown in New Orleans or New York, if it tastes awesome, then so be it.
It was nice to go visit La Poche, kind of like visiting a legend. The rhetoric-ors is like those assholes on a Wild West tour that keep saying, this isn't the real town of Tombstone, or Wyatt Earp didn't really do that, or it didn't really happen that way. You know, the guys you just really want to punch in the face while you are enjoying the product.
Mark is the face of perique for me. I don't know this Mr. Percy, but you two just go wrangle out your differences behind the scenes. You go tugging on Superman's cape, you might as well piss into the wind. Or something like that, ha ha.
