This is easy if you forgo order. It's the sequence that makes it tough. It's such a weird phenomenon, one I've never witnessed anywhere else, that so many refuse to name a favorite or a best. It's so weird!! No need to explain. I understand your reasoning. This is why, assuming you want an answer, you phrase it as "if you could have only one". Go to any other product related forum and ask "what's the best" or "what's your favorite" and members fall over each other fighting over what's best or why they're right, but here everyone treats product as though it's be insulted or hurt by failing to be their number one. Again, I understand the reasoning, but I think it's bizarre.

After reading Nate's post, the "if you could have only one" question never really seemed valid to me. Seems like asking someone what meal they would choose if they could only have one set meal from this day forward. I am sure I would be sick of even my favorite meal by the end of the week let alone a month or a year from now.
But since it came up, my answer to that question would be Old Joe Krantz :)

This is why, assuming you want an answer, you phrase it as "if you could have only one".
In my experience, at least half the responders will list several.
For me, favorite is easy for a few months, till it runs out: 20 year old Penzance.

(Then cometh Quiet Nights)
