I just finished a top 3 Virginia and I appreciate so much advice. Now what is your top burley. I am not looking for Codgers as I have tried most. I am looking for hidden gems of sweetness. If it’s a cigarette burley please don’t list it. I have a sweet tooth so molasses anything on the sweeter side is preferred. If it has some Kentucky or Virginia or a tiny bit of Perique that’s fine, but please no Latakia. So load me up with those sweeties that are burley nutty molasses forward..

I will start off with sharing that I tried Cobblestone Hiking and like it a lot.

Tabac de Semois (Réserve du Patron) Unique, delicious but strong. Only to be used under close adult supervision.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Gen 1931. Flavored (honey), but well-measured and not cloying. This is my gourmet burley.

C&D Pegasus. My "codger" blend. I usually start my mornings with this blend and a coffee.

Honorable mentions:
MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired
Cobblestone Outdoors Hiking

I've only really smoked 2 Burleys on a regular basis as I'm more of a Virginia Smoker. Burleys aren't really my thing, but I have really enjoyed:

1. Tabac Manil Semois (Reserve du Patron) - very unique and a good "quick" smoke.
2. C&D Eight State Burley - a more refined version of an "American-style" Burley blend; I really enjoy it, but it's a Small Batch release, so only comes around once a year.
