My top three Burley's (in no particular order) are;

C&D Haunted Bookshop
Peterson Irish Flake
MacBaren HH Burley Flake

Honorable Mentions;
C&D Big & Burley
C&D Easy Times
Warhorse
I get the feeling you’re so burley you need the strong stuff. Easy Times sounds my speed.

Thanks everyone this has been great. Keep sharing but I think my next TAD focus will be on available bulks and a couple hard to get classics when the drop. I already have Cobblestone and Match Ready Rub. Gonna go after….

Wessex Slices
Solani Flake
HH Flake
Joe Krantz Blue
Pegasus
MB Golden Extra

and later try some Peretti and Boswell.

I know someone has listed the sweetest best blend for me but where to begin?

Another thing to keep in mind - pipe smokers are a proud and loyal lot. You’re going to get a ton of folks saying blend x is absolutely the best ever because it’s something that’s nearly impossible to get, they’ve tried it once, and they have an unopened tin of it (read: they’re in the club, even though they don’t actually ever smoke it, and good luck getting in).

You’ll spend tons of time and money trying to join the club only to find out the club sucks. My advice - match blends are typically readily available. Try them. Then keep trying other, more available blends. You’ll start to realize that, in a lot of cases, the hype is simply that. Just because it’s hard to get doesn’t mean it’s any better than anything else.

I had a member on here tell me about a blend that got zero discussion and was one of the best he smoked. In fact, he wouldn’t share the blend publicly because it just wasn’t popular and he didn’t want it to become as much. At the time (within the last couple of years), it was less than $30/lb. It was incredible. Taste is too subjective to rely on hype. Smoke lots, take notes, figure out what YOU like, and get after it!

Flame away.

For aromatic burley blends, Here are some that I enjoyed when I used to smoke aromatics:
Butternut Burley (4 Noggins)
Burley Light without a Bite (Lane Limited)
Mountain Mall Mix (Gatlin-burlier)

I'd add a bump for Watch City Cigar. Great blends. Great customer service.
