I was submitting resumes and apps the entire time. I did get some denials of course. One thing that bothered me was not hearing anything from a company, even with a follow up. Grinds my gears.

The company that hired me contacted me right away and I had an interview in 3 days and hired within a week. That means a lot to me.

My son is job searching and the lack of respect shown by prospective employers is shocking. Everything is faceless and nameless online BS. The he doesn't hear anything even after a rare interview. Messed up system currently.

Good to hear! I have been there and I know how stressful it can be. It is a good sign that you were picked up before the holiday, as most companies will not put someone on until mid January, t2hey have a need and know you are the right person to fill it.
