We've been over this topic plenty of times in other threads, the combination of alcohol and smoke greatly increases the potential for tissue damage, where exactly that fits on the scale of risk for a given individual is beside the point.
Although, yes, this topic has been raised numerous times, it doesn’t make it a science fact. This is what some claim to happen when alcohol is consumed with tobacco. I have not tested the hypothesis, nor do I have the means necessary to do so. Before continuing any further investigation down this rabbit hole, I’d like to know who funded such studies, which would reveal the intent of said studies. Now, tissue damage from Alcohol and tobacco makes sense to me in theory, I need a little more info before I blindly believe anything printed as science fact.
The individual scale of risk is the whole point. The only point. Isn’t the risk of Pipe Smoking what we’re up in arms about, when custom Agents plunder our property? When legislators claim to know what’s good for us? Etc. Etc.
Let me risk my leisure time of my own Free will; on my own free choices! Scotch and Pipes! And a cigar!
