I have had Rustica in a tomahawk pipe that I made, and it nearly made me float through the trees and tap into my 6th and possibly even my 7th sense with the amount of nicotine in it. I'm still finishing the pipe and will post in a new thread when it is totally done.

I like Dark Birds Eye and it's siblings, which many say has a big hit, but for me, it doesn't compare to Tabac Manill.
Had some of the La Volute last night and it's powerful. I only grab that a couple times per year...

I smoked cigars for years and in the last year or so made the move to being primarily a pipe smoker. Even though I smoked an occasional cigar, I transitioned away from them. Recently, I smoked a cigar that I had smoked before, but was surprised by the nicotine hit. I rather enjoyed it.
Do you folks have any recommendations for a pipe tobacco that has a good amount of nicotine? Even if it's not a specific brand, is there a type(Virginia, Perique etc) that tends to have more nicotine than others?

Add Copenhagen snuff (silver tin; it's moist not dry). In between your first and second pinch loading the bowl, add a sprinkle, cover with more tobacco, and sprinkle again before a little more for your char light. You will get a nice VA flavor, if not a little vinegar-y (or something). I haven't done more than two light sprinkles of cope, and although I'm past getting nic-sick it will put me in a spin. No nausea but I have to step carefully when I get up.
