I looked into it more, and now realise it is just GH sweet apple brown twist. Sorry for the excitement
I wasn't even aware of this shop! Then again living in the land of Synjeco, as well as minutes from the German border means I am pretty well covered :)

Either way you know I've fallen out of love with these Gawith dark Virginias used as wrappers for the ropes for a while now, they give me an oily taste which I can't shake. I've even gone to the sacrilege of removing the wrapper from Synjeco/Gawith's Holker Twist, and only keep the bright Virginia and Perique below :)

The SG plugs (RB and st James) would have been top of my list but I think hey are now included in the US drops aren’t they? If not, then definitely that is the way to go.
What is the RB plug like? I'm very interested in trying it.

Interesting, it's listed as such on tobacco reviews, and I was under the impression only your house can manufacture these perfectly-formed ropes. Also I'd swear the wrapper is the very same in the Gawith brown twists.
Same here. It’s 100% a Kendal product. Even Daniel confirmed this when I asked him. If it’s not, I want to know who, as they are the best in the business then.

We do not produce a twist called Holker.

I am aware there are various tobaccos and blends being sold under our 'name' and in our packaging but these are not being made by us under this as advertised. It might be these are our tobaccos being renamed or altered and then sold in our packaging, but certainly we do not make these products by these names in our factory. Anything that is a Gawith tobacco is made and packaged by us in the factory. There is also legal side to this with regard to registration of products etc and protecting our brand.

To be clearer - we are not saying holker twist (along with the rest of the synjeco range) are sold as Gawith products. Rather, that they are made in Kendal specifically for a tobacconist.

Synjeco (in Switzerland) also sells a lot of GH and SG products.

I am well aware of what Synjeco list as they are a customer of ours.

We do not make a Holker twist specifically for a tobacconist. It may have been made in the past under some former agreement with old management but is not made any more.
Thank you for clarifying, despite it being somewhat alarming. I had always wondered if it came out of the SG factory line given the 250g box size.

Damn, ain't that a shame. Understandable in terms of efficiency etc but still a shame as it's a great tobacco.
