Overall, I'm really not that impressed with BRM and wouldn't buy it again. To me, Lane's Dark Red is just as good or better (the one Lane I've truly enjoyed!), and while I've bought both mainly as blending agents, of the two, I can see myself smoking the Dark Red on its own more often than the Blood Red.
If you try either one, whatever you might ultimately think of the cherry taste, you might find them more useful to boost the flavor of weak-tasting blends just to add a bit of fruitiness to them.
I had an old pouch of captain black that I found yesterday, and the smoke was quite incredible, I had it in my box for 2 years, also I think that the areos do have some taste, and when smoked in a corncob it enhances the flavor, but my favorite tobaccos right now are English.
Favorite aromatic has to be C&D Golden Days of Yore. Went to buy some and it's gone forever. Bought the 2016 C&D Corn Cob Pipe and a Button Nose. It will not be as complex as Golden Days. Jeremy needs to do another run of Golden and name it something else.

I've been impressed by 7Seas Royal.
It's not overly wet out of the tin but for maximum enjoyment and ease of smoking I let mine dry out for 15-20 minutes.
The flavors are delightful and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. Probably my favorite aro to this point.. I'll be ordering more.
