You might want to do more reading. They made fermented drinks for ceremonial use long before European exposure. The residents of North and South America had never made their own booze. In its place they’d cultivated tobacco, and used it only for social, medicinal and religious fulfillment.

I think this a bit misleading. The tribes of North America (and much of south and central), generally loathed and despised the white man’s tobacco (N. Tabacum) that they brought in from the Caribbean, and much preferred N. Rustica, which they grew. There is also much documentation suggesting recreational smoking was prevalent when the Europeans first arrived, tho I suspect the everyday smoke then may have been a spiritual matter. Check out this excellent book for more info:The residents of North and South America had never made their own booze. In its place they’d cultivated tobacco, and used it only for social, medicinal and religious fulfillment.
They’d even sought out and found and exploited pipestone deposits.
We all know the sad history of Europeans introducing their commercial alcohol to the Native Americans.
But Europeans also introduced a hybrid manufactured, and processed tobacco that when the natives got ahold of it, smoked it all up and became addicted and wanted more and almost abandoned their own tobacco for it.
White people are very good at making things that are bad for you taste good.
I still have a few “Free Leonard Peltier” t shirts available. This materialist can dig it. People miss out when they only accept wisdom from their own group.
I don’t think there were many civilizations that didn’t figure out you could ferment stuff and it would get you drunk. It’s a pretty easy thing to fortuitously happen upon. You might want to do more reading. They made fermented drinks for ceremonial use long before European exposure.
I believe the oldest alcoholic beverage that we know of came from China 7000bce.I don’t think there were many civilizations that didn’t figure out you could ferment stuff and it would get you drunk. It’s a pretty easy thing to fortuitously happen upon.
And the oldest found evidence of tobacco cultivation is nearly 13,000 years ago.I believe the oldest alcoholic beverage that we know of came from China 7000bce.
Race isn't something we should comment on in the forum.I would really like to get back to Winnipegers bitches about white people.
I'm game!To use tobacco the real traditional way you would powder some green rustica and mix it with crushed up yopo beans, and have someone blast it up your nose with a bird bone tube.
