Apologies for going off topic but I can't let this comment slide; I've been self-medicating with cannabis daily for 75% of my life since I was 15yo.
A flatmate who was a chronic asthmatic got better relief from a joint than from his array of pHarmaceutical puffers.
For the last 20 years I've been medicating with cannabis for chronic nerve pain.
As it turns out the anti-inflammatory effects of cannabis has stopped the progression of my Buergers Disease. According to my Drs "100% of Buergers patients will suffer multiple amputations & death within 2-3 years after diagnosis" I've known 12 other Buergers patients over the last 20 years & they all died within 3 years.
Without cannabis I would have died an excruciating death many years ago.

Cannabis oil elixir was once the most widely prescribed medication until Big Industry bribed politicians to have it made illegal, which started the outrageously ignorant Marijuana Madness hysteria.
I've known seven patients from my pain clinic who all committed suicide because they could no longer bear chronic nerve pain. A senseless waste of life & suffering that could have been relieved with a PLANT that has not killed a single soul in the history of humanity.

We have an endocannabinoid system that accepts cannabinoids hand in glove. Mothers breast milk contains cannabinoids [The cause of 'milk high' in babies]

So please, leave your prejudices at the door. You know not of what you speak.

Sorry to hear of your suffering, but I'm glad you found relief in that.

As for green leaf, tried it as a teenager, don't like it, but I also don't need it for a medical reason. So I leave it alone.

I just don't like modern stoner culture. I have friends that are stoners. They are really, really boring to hang out with most of the time and listen to terrible music.

But we are REALLY off topic, guys.

10 lbs is a HUUUGE order by my standards! What did you pick up?! (Sorry I love hearing about peoples scores!)

Heh, you're gonna laugh at me.

I actually really like Smoker's Pride Mellow Taste. It's just a good, basic, non-aromatic VaBur and it's super cheap (about $10 a pound). It comes pretty dry, so a pound is A LOT of tobacco, maybe equivalent to 1.75-2 pounds of a more hydrated blend.

The Rich Taste is the same, but more burley than Virginia. Also decent.

Anyway, I just hydrate it a little and pack it a little bit tighter, and enjoy it from a cob. It's a great, cheap smoke. I actually enjoy the flavor and the room note is nice and toasty, slightly sweet, not cigarette-ish.

I also threw in a few cans on Hearth & Home Chestnut and ordered some stogies from Holt's, though those weren't on sale.

I've actually looked at those bags of smokers pride a few times. How can you go wrong for $10/lb? Worst case, it's gotta be better than having an empty pipe! Glad to hear that it's really not terrible. Maybe I will buy a bag. If it's not for me, I can always mix it with something

Yeah, give it a shot. Hydration is key to get a good smoke from it, but it's not bad at all.

Panic buying makes it a sellar's market, which explains why there's a new blend being released every two seconds despite FDA regulations.
