What kind of pipe tobacco do they have in North Korea hmmm?
well since they arent considered american soil, they can do what they want. And technically you should expect to pay the proper taxes once you drive out of their jurisdiction....I think I’ve heard that tobacco on reservations is tax free or something like that.
No that’s not true. I know a couple of people way up in Fort Mac who grow their own tobacco. A heated greenhouse on your property Is all it takes.Growing your own tobacco is not an option in Oz
Extremely harsh penalties which may include time in prison
It is true I’m afraid, one cannot grow tobacco in Australia unless you want to play drop the soap with a guy called Trevor in a 6 x 4 cell…….No that’s not true. I know a couple of people way up in Fort Mac who grow their own tobacco. A heated greenhouse on your property Is all it takes.

This is a good strategy for shipping tobacco into Canada. There is no official amount for "personal use." I've had a $4 pouch of Half and Half assessed for $30 of tax. BUT by splitting shipments up into smaller amounts, some will sneak through, and the ones that are caught won't be quite so painful (most I've ever paid in tax on a single shipment is $130).I used to ship my tobacco from a company in US to Ireland. I would get away with two 50g tins at a time. But three tins and customs would seize it.
I think if its two they know its personal use.
The company would split my order imto seperate batches of two tins.
They have since been bought by a large company and now you can't access the website from Ireland.
Might be true in Australia but it’s not true in Canada. It is true I’m afraid, one cannot grow tobacco in Australia unless you want to play drop the soap with a guy called Trevor in a 6 x 4 cell…….

How does the Germain made 79 compare to the us version?Nah, we're more than stocked there and liquorice isn't my favorite so I'd take the hundies. Def be willing to swap for some more EGR tho.
If only I knew a year ago what the desirability ratio of EGR:M79 would've been... lol

Here it is straight from the Canadian Government stating that it is legal to grow tobacco for personal use.
Yes, under federal regulations, it is
legal for an individual to grow and manufacture up to 15 kilograms of tobacco per year for their own personal use and not for sale. No federal license is required for this specific personal use exemption.
Key regulations from the federal Excise Act, 2001 include:
- Quantity Limit: The maximum amount is 15 kilograms of manufactured tobacco or cigars per year for the individual and each family member (18 years or older) residing with them.
- Personal Use Only: The tobacco must be strictly for personal consumption and not for sale or other commercial purposes.
- No License Required: Individuals meeting these specific personal use criteria are exempt from the requirement to obtain a tobacco manufacturer's license from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
